FOCUS TEAM 2017-2018
2ND YEAR focus missionary & Team director
"I greatly enjoyed my first year on mission, getting to walk alongside others as they grew in the relationship with Jesus. This has propelled me to be even more thrilled to be coming to WSU. I am so excited to build authentic friendships with the men and women on campus and get to encounter Jesus in every soul I meet."
2nd year focus Missionary at Wichita State University
As a missionary, my greatest desire is to lead all students to Christ. For many years I was living my life solely for the satisfaction of my own personal comfort . After desperately searching for the fulfillment of my desires, I found that no earthly pleasure would fill the craving in my heart for God. After encountering the merciful love of Christ, I came to know it was Jesus Christ I had been searching for all along. My life has been transformed by Jesus. I desire to bring the joy of Christ to others and introduce them to the life-changing message of the Gospel. In His ministry on earth, Jesus humbled Himself to meet us on our level, taking on our humanity, and spent most of His time investing deeply in a few. I look to Jesus’ own example to find the best method of reaching the world. I've been constantly amazed by the different souls I've encountered on campus.

What's up? I'm Neil, I've never lived north of Interstate 10 in my life, but Kansas calls! I serve in beautiful Kansas at Wichita State University. I'm excited to experience this new corner of creation and live life abundantly with the people around me.
With the help of rock-solid friends, I discovered that living for Christ is guaranteed adventure, and the monotony of the modern world cannot satiate human thirst. As Christian youth, we have the invitation and the responsibility to live abundantly. Watching my brothers and sisters live subpar sent me into mission mode. Christ called me, even with ever single flaw I have, into mission. I am convicted to the cause of showing people Christ's way. This way shows people that we are called to be nothing less than incredible, even with all of our flaws. This way gives life, love, and adventure. It is a way out of living as a number; as just another speck on planet earth. My generation deserves better than the salt-water that they drink from. We have Christ as a brother to show us a spring.
